NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Nashville has issued more building permits for the grand reopening of the Opry Mills Mall next month.
The Game Stop, Select Comfort and Auntie Anne's Pretzels were added to the growing list of new stores and restaurants slated to open at the flood damaged shopping complex.
Thursday's announcement follows a recent job fair held at the mall on Tuesday. An estimated 5,000 people seeking employment attended.
More than 60 retailers and restaurants will open or reopen at the mall on March 29.
Mall officials and store managers were surprised to see the large turnout, though figures show retail is commonly desired among those who are unemployed.
Opry Mills' tenants will have close to 3,000 employees when the mall fully reopens.
