Franklin man caught speeding, charged with 4th DUI

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -
A Williamson County man is free on bond after being arrested for his fourth DUI over the weekend.
Officers stopped 27-year-old Kyle Brasher after they spotted him traveling 85 miles-per-hour in a construction zone on Interstate 65 around 1:20 a.m. Sunday.
After placing him under arrest for DUI, officers discovered a loaded handgun and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle
Brasher was charged with DUI, his fourth, unlawful possession of a handgun while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was booked into the Williamson County jail and has since been released a $6,500 bond.
According to the Governor's Highway Safety Office, impaired driving and impaired-related crashes result in more deaths each year than do total homicides and in the United States, alcohol is a factor in 33% of all crashes.
