Clarksville woman looks for love on 'The Bachelor'

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Middle Tennessee's own Kacie Boguskie is hoping to find love on ABC's "The Bachelor."

Known to viewers as "Kacie B.", the 24-year-old Clarksville native is one of six ladies remaining on the current season of the hit show.

Kacie B. was the first bachelorette to go on a one-on-one date with Ben and later the first to receive a second one-on-one date.

Not only is Kacie one of Ben's favorites, she's also one of Cathy Davidson's favorites.  Davidson taught Kacie at Rossview High School in Montgomery County.

"She's just always been one of my favorites," Davidson told Nashville's News 2.  "She's a neat young lady.  She's real goal oriented, she knows what she wants to do and she goes after it."

Davidson worked closely with Kacie on Rossview's chapter of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, also known as FCCLA.

She's been watching the show closely not to see if Kacie is the right one, but if Ben is.

"I just hope that he is the right person for her if he does choose her," Davidson said.

Kacie is under contract and can't share the juicy show details, but Davidson says she pried a little.

She said, "I told her when I saw her at Christmas, at lunch, that I hope she found her perfect man and she just sort of smiled.  She didn't let me know that she won or anything, but I knew she was in the top four."

In high school, Davidson says Kacie was a standout student.  She shared a special bond with her and it appears Ben does as well.

Davidson said she wouldn't be surprised if Kacie is the love of Ben's life.

"I didn't picture him so much as the kind of guy that Kacie would date, but he seems to be really nice," she said, adding, "But I told her he needs to do something with his hair."

Davidson told Nashville's News 2 if Ben and Kacie do decide to live happily ever after, she would expect an invite to the wedding.

"The Bachelor" airs Mondays at 7 p.m. on Nashville's News 2.
