Salon employee attacked in east Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A salon employee was attacked early Monday morning in east Nashville.

Metro police said the employee was taking out the trash around 12:15 a.m. at Mogulz Salon located at 215 Main Street off South 10th Street and was hit over the head with a stick.

Nothing was taken from the victim.

Authorities believe the suspect fled the scene due to the victim's size.

Metro police did not immediately have a description of the suspect.

Anyone with information is urged to call Metro police or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
