MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -
Murfreesboro police are continuing to search for a man they say robbed a jewelry store in broad daylight on Friday.
The robbery happened around 1 p.m. according to Kyle Evans, the Public Information Officer for Murfreesboro police.
Evans said the suspect entered a jewelry store in the 1800 block of NW Broad Street in Murfreesboro wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and a black mask. He was armed with a knife.
It was not immediately released how much jewelry the man got away with.
A K-9 team tracked him toward the Stones River, but the unit lost the track and was called off.
