Valentine's Day brings job opportunities to Mid-State

People in the Mid-State looking for employment will have the chance to apply for various positions at three job fairs next week.

Opry Mills, the Nashville Zoo and Landscape Services are holding job fairs on or around Valentine's Day.

Opry Mills will hold its job fair Tuesday, February 14, to fill positions ranging from retail to restaurant to management.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. inside the Regal Cinemas court at the mall, located on Opry Mills Drive, off Briley Parkway.

Retailers hope to fill hundreds of positions before the mall's grand re-opening March 29.

The Nashville Zoo is also putting out the help wanted sign.

The zoo will be hold its job fair Monday, February 13 and Tuesday February 14 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Seasonal positions are available, including retail, concession cashiers, and short order cooks, among many others.

Landscape Services, Inc., or LSI, is holding a three-day job fair in anticipation of the upcoming mowing season.

The company seeks qualified crew leaders and crew members.

Job fairs will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Tuesday February 14 - Thursday February 16, at a different location each day.

Tuesday's fair will be held at 468 Rice Street in Murfreesboro.

Wednesday's fair will be located at 1219 Lakeview Drive in Franklin.

Thursday's will be held at 204 River Hills Drive in Nashville.
