Couple wanted for forgery in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -

Clarksville police are continuing to search for a married couple who were supposed to surrender to authorities on Thursday for forgery charges.

According to police, Bobbie M. Fendley and Louis J. Fendley both have active warrants on file.

Authorities told Nashville's News 2 Bobbie Fendley failed to pick up her five-year-old child from school as well on Thursday and a family member had to be contacted.

Bobbie and Louis Fendley are also suspects in other forgeries exceeding $20,000.

Police said Louis Fendley is on parole for attempted aggravated robbery.

Anyone with information on the couple's whereabouts is urged to contact police at 931-645-8477.
