EAGLEVILLE, Tenn. -
At least six people were injured in a head-on-collision that occurred in Eagleville Thursday night.
The accident occurred around 9 p.m. on U.S. Highway 41 at State Highway 99, about 40 miles south of Nashville.
Officials from Tennessee Highway Patrol said two victims were airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, while four others were transported to Middle Tennessee Medical Center by ambulance.
The cause of the accident was not immediately known, however officials told Nashville's News 2 alcohol may have played a role.
No additional information was released.
