Burglars break into Rivergate jewelry store

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are investigating a jewelry store break-in early Thursday morning in Rivergate.

An alarm sounded at Dick Bundy's Regency Jewelry, located at 2021 Gallatin Pike North near Conference Drive, around 3:30 a.m.

Responding officers found the front door shattered and a glass display case inside broken into.

A K-9 unit searched the store but the suspect had already fled.

The owners reported several watches were missing but planned to take full inventory to determine all that was stolen.
