LA VERGNE, Tenn. -
A man and a woman suffered stab wounds after what La Vergne police believe may have been a fight over clothing.
La Vergne police told Nashville's News 2 the incident happened around 10 p.m. Sunday at a home on Ridgemont Drive.
When police arrived at the scene, the male victim ran from police.
The officers then called a Tennessee Highway Patrol helicopter to find the man.
THP told Nashville's News 2 they found the man five minutes later near Sam Ridley Parkway and Old Nashville Highway.
Both the man and the woman were treated for their wounds at the hospital and are expected to recover.
One person was taken into custody and faces aggravated assault charges; however, it was not immediately clear who that person was.
