HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. -
Wal-Mart has announced the date for a grand opening of a new Sam's Club store located in Hendersonville.
The members-only warehouse store has a soft opening planned for March 20, followed by a grand opening event the following day on March 21.
The new 149,000 square foot store, located off Indian Lake Road, will feature a gas station, as well as a hearing and vision center.
As the new Sam's store prepares to open, the Rivergate location is preparing to move its merchandise and employees to the new store.
"We are all looking to make that slide to the new location in Hendersonville and we're all super excited to be going there," Rivergate assistant manager Jan Brimhall said.
Sam's Club is hosting a two day job fair at the Tennessee Career Center to fill open positions.
Most of the available positions will be permanent part-time positions with an opportunity to move to full-time.
"We're always looking for cashiers on our front end and it's just looking for folks who know how to with the general public in a professional way," Brimhall said.
