Nashville businesses profit off Super Bowl

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Super Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events in the country and because of this, thousands of VIP's will travel to Indianapolis and they will all want to travel in style. Because of that some Nashville businesses will benefit.

Indianapolis is nearly 300 miles away from Nashville, but Antioch's Signature Transportation Services will profit off of the big event.

"They'll be leaving tomorrow morning the majority of them around five in the morning," said Matthew Yorke of his Signature Transportation fleet that's heading to Indy.

Kristin Levering with Nashville's Gray Line said her company already sent vehicles to work for the Super Bowl.

"We work with the Super Bowl every year so we've had nine to 10 busses there all week long doing pre game shuttling just for the guest that are there, maybe some team members, some volunteers," she said.

While both companies have Super Bowl experience, this year is exciting because Nashville is so close.

Yorke said, "Last year we sent five or six cars to Dallas and it was a logistical challenge, but we were able to pull it off."

"Indy is so close to Nashville, it's one of our sister city's and just a hop skip and a jump away," said Levering.

And because of this, a lot of Middle Tennessee VIP's are headed to the Super Bowl and of course they want to travel in style.  For others, they want to make sure a familiar face greets them when they step off of their private jet in Indianapolis.

"We even have a client flying up there and we'll send a car to meet them for his arrival, take them to the Super Bowl and then take him back for his departure," said Yorke.

The economic impact is no where near what Indianapolis will see, but for a few Middle Tennessee businesses, a four and a half hour drive on Interstate 65 North will mean thousands of dollars in the bank.
