Clarksville police are continuing to search for three suspected counterfeiters who attempted to buy more than $1,500 worth of merchandise from a retailer last week.
Police told Nashville's News 2 the three suspects successfully purchased $700 worth of goods from the Target located on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard using counterfeit $20 bills on January 22.
The trio returned to the retailer the next day in an effort to purchase over $800 in merchandise; however the business refused the bills and turned the suspects away.
