NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

No one was injured when a car collided with a male driver early Monday morning in Antioch, sending the man's car into a creek bed.

The crash was reported around 6 a.m. in front of Korean Blessed Baptist Church located in the 14000 block of Old Hickory Boulevard off Bell Road.

According to the man's mother, her son was traveling south on Old Hickory Boulevard when a female driver pulled out of the church parking lot and struck his vehicle.

The car struck a brick retaining wall and landed on its side in the creek bed.

Neither driver wanted to be transported but the mother told Nashville's News 2 she was going to take her son to the hospital as a precaution.

One lane of Old Hickory Boulevard was shutdown for about 90 minutes while crews cleared the scene.

The road has since reopened.
