Health, Fitness and Beauty Expo continues through Sunday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

The Health, Fitness, and Beauty Expo is Saturday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 Noon - 5 p.m. at the Cool Springs Galleria.

The Expo promotes everyone in the health, fitness and beauty industries. All related businesses, from dentists and doctors, to personal trainers and nutritional advice, to educational and career opportunities in the related fields, will have experts on hand to discuss personal goals and needs.

The Health, Fitness, and Beauty Expo seeks to reach consumers while they are thinking about their New Year's resolutions to be healthier.  The Expo features free seminars, screenings, educational and informational health-focused displays.

Sara Gilliam has come to the expo nearly every year since it started.

"I try to look at new ideas and products and stuff. I always enjoy coming to it," Gilliam told Nashville's News 2.

The ATA Black Belt Academy was among the more then two dozen vendors.

"We are trying to promote fitness for everybody. Martial arts is a good way for the whole family to work together and get fit," explained Michael Monroe of the academy.
