NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A mobile home in south Nashville was destroyed by fire early Friday morning.
The blaze began around 6:40 a.m. at the home located in the 2700 block of Murfreesboro Pike.
Nashville fire officials said flames consumed the home, destroying everything inside and a neighbor's SUV parked next to the trailer.
The tenant, a single male, believes a space heater may have sparked the blaze.
He escaped unharmed.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the resident.
The fire marshal will investigate to determine if a space heater is in fact to blame.
