CARTHAGE, Tenn. -
Interstate 40 West in Smith County was partially blocked for several hours Thursday following a semi-truck wreck.
The crash was reported at mile marker 258 in Carthage around 10:30 a.m.
Photos from the scene showed a tractor trailer in a ditch alongside the interstate.
Information about what caused the crash or whether there were injuries was not released.
The scene was cleared around 1:30 p.m., according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
Westbound traffic was affected with the roadway partially blocked.
