NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Fire crews have extinguished a fire Wednesday morning at an apartment complex in south Nashville.
The fire broke out around 10:15 a.m. at the Audubon Park Apartments located at 600 Whispering Hills Drive off Nolensville Pike.
Firefighters had the fire under control about 20 minutes later.
One apartment unit is destroyed.
No one was injured.
Fire officials on the scene said Piedmont Natural Gas crews working in the area saw the smoke and called 911.
The fire marshal will investigate to determine what sparked the fire.
