NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A Metro Nashville school official is being scrutinized for sending a controversial cartoon to some of his co-workers.
The City Paper reported Jay Nelson, the school district's Food Services Director, sent the chain email of a comic to four female employees on December 14.
The comic is of two cavemen under the heading "The original sin."
The caption below it reads "I've decided to teach her to talk, what harm could it do?"
The matter is under investigation by the Metro Council's Minority Caucus.
