NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A Tusculum area Mapco store became the target of a robber for the third time in two weeks early Thursday morning.
Metro police told Nashville's News 2 the clerk at the Mapco on Nolensville Pike at Old Hickory Boulevard was held up at knifepoint just after 12:30 a.m.
The suspect is described as a white male, six foot, two inches tall, weighing 250 pounds.
He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black bandana and left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The same Mapco was robbed January 5 and January 3. The clerk in both cases was robbed at gunpoint.
Police said they do not believe the most recent hold-up is related to the two previous incidents.
