LEBANON, Tenn. -
The Wilson County Fair was the 34th most attended fair in North America in 2011.
It's the fair's highest ranking yet, on the annual list of the top 50 fairs, released by CarnivalWarehouse.com.
More than 545,000 people attended the fair, putting it ahead of state fairs in Florida and Colorado.
Attendance was up 38 percent from 2010.
No other Tennessee fairs made the list.
The fair is held each year at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center on E. Baddour Parkway in Lebanon.
Wilson County's 2012 fair, themed "The Year of the Corn," will be held August 17-25.
