NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A driver was stranded in the middle of Murfreesboro Pike in south Nashville early Wednesday morning due to standing water.
The truck got stuck just past Thompson Lane around 6:30 a.m.
Emergency crews shut down part of the roadway and waited for the water to recede.
Drivers were urged to find an alternate route.
Murfreesboro Pike reopened about an hour later.
No one was injured.
