NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
Metro police are investigating after a convenience store in the Tusculum area of south Nashville was robbed for the second time this week.
The second robbery occurred just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mapco on Old Hickory Boulevard at Nolensville Pike.
According to officers, the suspect entered the store, approached the counter with a handgun and demanded money at gunpoint.
He was wearing a ski mask, black shirt and black pants at the time.
The clerk compiled but gave the man just $14 from the register.
The robber became upset and began searching for money and before running from the store.
The same store was robbed Monday night by a suspect also involved in a carjacking in Antioch.
Detectives are investigating whether the crimes are related.
