More than 50 celebrities have lent their buses to the non-profit organization Christmas 4 Kids, giving the community an inside look at their tour buses and giving local kids reason to celebrate this holiday season.
For a small donation to the organization, tours of the buses, each one uniquely decorated for the holidays, will be given in the parking lot of the Walmart on North Anderson Lane in Hendersonville from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday.
"They may have the same body, Prevost body, but the interiors are custom to the artist or the celebrity that's going to be on that bus," Christmas 4 Kids President Debbie Lamberson told Nashville's News 2.
From the frills of the bus that carries Taylor Swift's band to the rustic charm of Josh Turner's family bus, stars travel in style and comfort.
In addition to country stars, movie-mogul Tyler Perry has his custom-made bus on display as does Titans kicker Rob Bironas.
Lamberson continued, "We're very fortunate to be accepted by not only the music industry, which is how this all started with Conway Twitty, but now we're moving into the sports world and with Tyler coming on a few years ago."
It's when the public tours end that the fun begins for the kids.
"We will actually take these buses and go pick up 400 children and bring them back to a dinner and Christmas party with Santa and Mrs. Claus and then we'll come back to Walmart and each child will shop," Lamberson explained. "They get $150 each and a new coat and some other things that are going to be handed out to them at the end of the night."
Admission to the tour bus show Monday night is just $5 for adults and $2 for kids ages two to 12.
Thirty up and coming stars will also be on hand for autographs and pictures.
