The Rockettes Summer Intensive is a weeklong program, running June 24 through August 3, 2012.

It's hosted at the Radio City Music Hall, where the actual Rockettes rehearse for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.

Since its inception in 2001, 47 dancers from the program have gone on to become Rockettes.

Dancers in the program will train with Rockettes and a Rockettes director/choreographer.

Dancers rehearse each day from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with education seminars at night.

The students learn original Rockette choreography and the week ends with a student showcase.
