NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

Metro police are searching for a man who robbed a Nashville gas station at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.

The unmasked suspect walked into the Citgo gas station located at 500 Main Street, near South Fifth Street, in east Nashville at 1 a.m. and showed his weapon.

Police said the suspect is a white male in his 20s with a teardrop tattoo next to his right eye and sandy brown hair.

He is approximately 5'8" tall with an average build was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
