NASHVILLE, Tenn. -
A vigil is scheduled to be held on Tuesday night for a 71-year-old man who was found dead on the front porch of his north Nashville home last week.
The vigil for Ed Wisdom Jr. is set to begin at 7 p.m. at his home located at 3205 Moorewood Drive.
Organizers are asking participants to bring flashlights.
Wisdom was found dead by a neighbor on Friday afternoon at his home of 37 years.
Police have classified Wisdom's death as a homicide.
Wisdom had retired in February as the Director of Management Information Systems at Tennessee State University.
