Stephanie Langston

Stephanie is back and on the new News 2 Weekend Morning Show.  She has been working on and off at WKRN for more than a decade holding positions as an Associate Producer, Entertainment Reporter, Video Journalist and Weekend morning Anchor.  As a Nashville native, Stephanie can't be more excited to continue working in her hometown.

Stephanie is an Emmy nominated TV journalist who, in addition to working for WKRN over the years has hosted the ABC morning show "Good Morning Mississippi," has been featured as a correspondent on "Live with Regis & Kelly" and has produced for VH1's "Behind the Music" as well as CMT's "Insider."  From Bonnaroo to the CMA Awards, Stephanie has covered nearly every star-studded event in Music City.  She also recently landed a speaking role as an Entertainment Reporter in the movie "Country Strong."

While entertainment is her forte, Stephanie loves to cover stories that make an impact on the community.  She has been in the field covering stories from Hurricane Katrina and Tornadoes to the Historic Nashville Flood.

Stephanie has spent countless hours donating time to raise awareness for a long list of community organizations.  Among her volunteer efforts; she hula hooped the Music City half marathon twice to raise awareness for breast cancer, hosted a three hour live broadcast of the March of Dimes for ABC6 and has emceed Fusion, one of the nation's largest young adult cancer awareness events benefiting the Minnie Pearl Foundation three years in a row.

Stephanie received an Emmy Nomination for her CMA Awards show coverage for WKRN and was voted among the "Best of Nashville" TV Reporters in the Nashville Scene.

In her downtime Stephanie likes to keep you up to date on the entertainment world on her blog stephnthecity.com, swing dance, ride her scooter, hula hoop and spend time with her husband and two pups!
