HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – A private funeral service was held over the weekend for the newborn twins who were killed by their 25-year-old mother moments after they were born.
According to Lindsey Lowe's lawyer, John Pellegrin the service was held on Sunday at the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Lowe is accused of smothering her two sons after giving birth at her parent's Hendersonville home earlier this month.
She was released on a $250,000 bond last week.
On Thursday, dozens of people attended a prayer vigil for Lowe and her family at their church, City Road Chapel United Methodist.
The Lowe family was not in attendance.
A preliminary hearing for Lowe is set October 11.
