NASHVILLE, Tenn. -

A female employee at Dell Computers in Nashville was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after she was run over by a car driven by her ex-boyfriend in the parking lot of the business.

The incident happened around 1 p.m. at the facility located at the intersection of Murfreesboro Road and Donelson Pike, near the Nashville International Airport.

According to police, Jordan Looper called his ex-girlfriend, Dell employee Whitney Wiser, and said he wanted to meet with her.

Police said after a discussion inside the SUV, Wiser told Looper she did not want to resume their relationship.

While the 24-year-old was walking back toward her office, Lopper gunned his vehicle and struck her before driving off.

Looper, 28, was arrested less than an hour later during a Tennessee Highway Patrol traffic stop on Interstate 40 East at Linwood Road, exit 245, near Watertown, in Wilson County.

Wiser was last listed in critical, but stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Police said Looper would be charged with attempted homicide.
