LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. – Investigators with the Lawrenceburg Police Department arrested three adults and one juvenile Monday on charges they abused a five year-old girl and her four-year-old brother.
The children were allegedly abused at a home in Lawrenceburg on Saturday afternoon.
The alleged abuse was caught on camera and the videotape has been seized by police.
Lawrenceburg police Capt. Don Laws said the video was made as the abuse occurred.
Marietta Cody, 30, is charged with two counts of child abuse and one count of criminal responsibility for child abuse. She was booked into the Lawrence County jail on a $20,000 bond. Tabitha Jane Sims, 25, and Nicholas Lee Daniels, 23, are each charged with two counts of child abuse. Their bond was set at $5,000 each.
The age or sex of the juvenile suspect arrested was not released.
All four are scheduled to appear in court in October.
