NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An open casting call for actress Nicole Kidman's new movie, Stoker, will be held Saturday in downtown Nashville. The casting call for extras will be held at Rocketown from 9 a.m. - 3p.m.
Children and teenagers will be seen from 9 a.m. until Noon, and adults will be seen between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.Applicants should bring a recent photo of themselves, no larger than 4X6 inches.No acting experience is necessary.Casting directors are looking for three boys who bear a physical resemblance to some of the adult actors. They hope to find a set of Caucasian male twins, between the ages of two and three years of age. Producers are also looking for teens and young adults who are over the age of 18 but could pass for younger high school students. The movie is about a teenage girl coping with the death of her father, and an uncle who arrives to meet the family. Stoker is set to begin filming in Nashville, where Kidman lives, at the end of August.
Besides Kidman, the movie will also star Mia Wasikowska and Matthew Goode, according to IMDB.com.The movie will be directed by Park Chan-wook and produced by Michael Costigan, Ridley Scott and Tony Scott.
A 2012 release is anticipated.
