The six-week concert series will take place Thursday nights through October 13.  Shows start at 6 p.m.

"This is the third year of one of the most successful concert series in Nashville history, and the fact that it takes place on what I consider the city's front porch makes it extra special to me," Nashville Mayor Karl Dean said in a release.

"Free live music downtown featuring a diverse array of musical talent and presented in an environmentally conscious fashion is what Music City is all about," he continued.

The 2011 lineup is as follows:
- Sept. 8: The Nashville Symphony with K.S. Rhoads; Will Hoge
- Sept. 15: Los Lonely Boys; Rumba
- Sept. 22: Robert Randolph & The Family Band; The Dirty Guv'nahs; Moon Taxi
