LIBERTY, Tenn. – Cannon County deputies discovered more than 100 marijuana plants and a moonshine still at a home on Monday evening.
Law enforcement told Nashville's News 2 they first located the marijuana crops using aerial surveillance.
After arriving to the home located on Big Hill Road, authorities discovered 124 marijuana plants and items used to grow the illegal drug, in addition to a working moonshine still.
Charges are pending against homeowners Edward and Joann Johnson.
Authorities said Edward Johnson has a previous arrest and conviction for manufacturing marijuana and is scheduled to be in court Tuesday for those charges.
