MTA plans for improvements along West End corridor
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Metro Transit Authority is holding a meeting on Thursday night to give community members an opportunity to help find a solution to transportation along the busy West End corridor.
MTA plans to review several options for the Broadway to West End corridor during the meeting which is scheduled to be held at Aquinas College from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Community members who live, work and visit the area are encouraged to give their opinions on the plans.
A modern streetcar, light rail and bus rapid transit are all options that have been included in possible solutions for the busy stretch of road.
After a blueprint is put in place, the city will attempt to gain federal funding to complete the plans.
The goal is to connect people with the places visited most.
