NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Tennessee Department of Transportation worker recently charged with soliciting a prostitute has been fired.
A spokesperson for TDOT told Nashville's News 2 Charles Harbison refused to resign from his position, resulting in his dismissal.
He was taken into custody last month after he made an unscheduled stop in a TDOT vehicle in an effort to pick up an officer posing as a prostitute.
Harbison worked as a highway worker for TDOT for the past decade.
