Vigil held for missing Decatur Co. woman

Posted:

PARSONS. Tenn. – Friends and family members of a missing west Tennessee woman gathered Wednesday night for a candlelight vigil at the Decatur County Fairgrounds.

Holly Bobo was last seen being dragged from her home on Swan Johnson Road by a man wearing camouflage last Wednesday morning around 7:30 a.m.

On Wednesday, volunteers and crews continued their search for the missing 20-year-old. Decatur County schools excused students participating in the search.

Volunteers are expected to take a day of rest on Thursday, while law enforcement continues their search.

The TBI told Nashville's News 2 they have completed DNA testing on blood evidence from the case, though they are not releasing exactly what was tested or the results of the tests.

A reward of $75,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Bobo's disappearance.

Bobo is five feet, three inches tall and weighs around 110 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a pink shirt and light blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the missing woman's whereabouts is urged to contact the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
