PARSONS, Tenn. – Whether they are grabbing coffee, sitting down for a meal or filling their pickup trucks with gas, all people in the rural Decatur County town of Parsons are talking about is the abduction of 20-year-old Holly Bobo.

Those who know the nursing student with blond hair and a big smile say they don't know what's more shocking, that anyone in the community midway between Nashville and Memphis would be abducted or that it would happen to someone like her.

Bobo was last seen by her brother, Clint, early Wednesday morning as she walked into the woods with an unknown man wearing camouflage.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Special Agent John Mehr said authorities do not believe she went willingly.

He said, "We believe, what we know and I'll tell you that she was taken by the arm, so we know she feared her life, so she was compliant with his commands."

Investigators are not saying if they believe Bobo knew her kidnapper.

They say her brother only saw the back of the man's head and thought it was her boyfriend.

"Her brother did what he thought was right and had reasons to do what he did and what he did, he immediately contacted 911 and he had reasons to believe it was not an attacker," Mehr said.

Searchers went back to looking for Bobo on Saturday, a day after authorities revealed her brother saw blood outside the house.

They expanded their search to include nearby counties and areas close to Interstate 40 in northern Decatur County.

A lunch bag belonging to Bobo has also been found but authorities have not released anything further.

Decatur County Sheriff Roy Wyatt said last week there are no suspects.

The TBI, FBI, Tennessee State Highway Patrol and several other agencies are working together to find Bobo, who was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink shirt.

Pink ribbons have been hung across town in a show of support for the family.  People also wore t-shirts saying pray for Bobo.

A $25,000 reward is being offered for information about her disappearance.
