
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Academy of Country Music recently named the historic Ryman Auditorium the 2011 Venue of the Year.
The popular venue first opened its doors in Music City in 1892.
The Ryman's general manager, Sally Williams, was also honored by the ACM as Promoter of the Year.
Williams has worked at the Nashville landmark for three years.
