WAYNE CO., Tenn. – A Tennessee couple charged with first degree murder in the death of daughter-in-law has pleaded guilty.
Steve Beersdorf and his wife Sylvia pled guilty to killing Rosemary Goggins.
Goggins disappeared over a year ago. Her burned car and remains were later found.
Authorities said Goggins was living with the couple, along with her then-11-month-old son, when she disappeared.
Steve Beersdorf has been sentenced to life in prison while his wife will serve 15 years.
Evidence in the case show Silvia Beersdorf did not participate in the actual murder.
