NASHVILLE, Tenn. – At IHOP locations around the Mid-State, customers can get a full belly and help those in need, all at the same time.
Tuesday is National Pancake Day and to help celebrate, Vanderbilt's Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital and the International House of Pancakes have joined forces.
From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, IHOP will offer a free short stack of pancakes to each guest.
In return, they ask that you leave a donation for the hospital.
The breakfast chain raised more than $2 million last year. They are hoping to raise $2.3 million this year.
