NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A bond hearing for the convicted murderer accused of providing the gun used to kill former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been continued to Friday.
U.S. Magistrate Cliff Knowles in Nashville granted the continuance for 33-year-old Adrian J. Gilliam Wednesday.
Public defender Hugh Mundy told the court Gilliam has asked him to interview a couple of new witnesses.
Prosecutors did not object.
Court documents say Gilliam, of LaVergne, admitted selling a nine-millimeter pistol to Sahel Kazemi for $100.
Kazemi shot McNair at his condo on July 4 before killing herself.
Gilliam faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
