Metro police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Friday morning outside a downtown nightclub.
Officers were called to Fuel on Second Avenue just off Broadway around 3 a.m. after reports of an altercation in the parking lot.
Metro Police Capt. Harmon Hunsicker said two men and three women were involved and the club's security guards had to physically pull the men off the women.
At some point, one of the males was stabbed and taken to a local hospital.
No other information is available at this time.
Police have not released any names.
