The Sumner County teacher arrested last week on one count of statutory rape surrendered to authorities Wednesday on three new charges.
Authorities allege Sandra Binkley, a math teacher at Portland High School, had sexual relationships with two additional students at the school, the first dating back nearly a year.
Police said Binkley, 36, had sex with the first student in a classroom closet on two occasions, in November 2007 and then again in August of this year.
The alleged victim is now 17-years-old.
Also in August police said Binkley drove to the other student's home and engaged in sexual contact with him while sitting in her car in his driveway.
She now faces two counts of statutory rape by an authority figure and one count of sexual battery by an authority figure, in additional to last week's statutory rape charge.
Statutory rape by an authority figure is a Class C felony punishable up three to six years behind bars.
Binkley was arrested last Thursday after a 17-year-old male student at the school reportedly told his parents about his relationship who then went to the school's principal.
Binkley has taught at Portland High School for the last 10 years.
She remains suspended from the school without pay.
