Erin GriffithPolice are seeking the public's assistance in locating a 37-year-old convicted sex offender.
Erin Griffith, who was convicted in 2004 of child solicitation, is wanted for violating the sex offender registry.
Police said Griffith is known to frequent the downtown area and may be homeless.
He has been arrested eight times since March on charges including public intoxication, disorderly conduct, trespassing and pedestrian soliciting.
Anyone with information on Griffith's whereabouts is urged to contact the police department's Sex Crimes Unit at 615-862-7540.
