NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vince Young will have a chance to practice once the Titans return from their bye even though the quarterback left Sunday's game in San Diego in a walking boot.

"Vince's situation is a little different than it was in Jacksonville in that it doesn't involve the knee.  He just reinjured the ankle," Head Coach Jeff Fisher said in a press conference at Baptist Sports Park Monday. "I don't think he'll do much this week but he's got a chance to get back on the field next week."

The same can't be said for wide out Kenny Britt.

The second year receiver hurt his right hamstring on the Titans' second drive in a 33-25 loss against the Chargers and will miss some time.

The Titans don't know how much yet because the receiver is still having tests on his leg, though Fisher said he would tell reporters if the injury was bad enough to end Britt's season.

"Kenny, as I said, he may miss some time," Fisher said.  "We're still doing the studies, he has an [injured] hamstring and we're going to treat it aggressively."

It's a good thing the bye has arrived for the Titans (5-3).

The focus this week will be on rest and healing, especially for a defense that has been on the field longer than all but Arizona's.
