NES fixes large Brentwood power outage

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - More than 9,000 people were without electricity power in Brentwood Tuesday afternoon for about a half an hour.

The power outages were reported around 11:45 a.m. according to Nashville Electric Service's Web site.

The outages were in an area south of Cloverland Drive and west of Edmondson Pike, including Cottonport Drive and Old Smyrna Road.

There's no word on cause of the outages.

NES crews fixed the problem around 12:15 p.m.
