NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Three juvenile females and one juvenile male are now charged in connection to Sunday afternoon's theft of a special education bus from Cole Elementary School in south Nashville.
Monday afternoon, detectives arrested a 14-year-old Antioch Middle School student and charged him in juvenile court with auto theft.
A 15-year-old girl and two 13-year-old girls were arrested Monday night.
All three are also charged with auto theft.
Police said the four teenagers stole the bus at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday and took turns driving it less than a mile to the intersection of Bart Drive and Keeley Drive, where it was abandoned undamaged.
A citizen saw the moving bus with the teens on board, followed it and called police.
Surveillance video from the bus identified the 14-year-old.
Police obtained the names of the girls shortly thereafter.
Authorities said the teens were able to take the bus after finding the key inside a satchel on the vehicle.
