NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair had a blood alcohol content of 0.16, twice the state's legal limit when he was shot and killed, the state's assistant medical examiner said on Monday.
McNair's mistress and the shooter, 20-year old Sahel Kazemi, had a small amount of marijuana in her system, Dr. Feng Li said.
Metro police said she shot McNair four times before turning the gun on herself.
Dr. Li said Kazemi had no alcohol in her system.
The bodies of McNair and Kazemi were discovered on July 4 in the downtown condominium McNair co-rented.
