Jerry Barlar has been at News 2 since 1989. In his time here he has covered a variety of stories. He won an Emmy for his coverage on a bank robbery where a police officer was shot and his K-9 partner killed. Most recently he got footage of a tornado that came through Ashland City in Cheatham County.
Jerry spends most of his time with his family when he is not at work. He is married and two children, ages 2 and 5.
When he is not with his family you can find him on the water or in the woods looking for food.
